Péreybère is approximately 45 minutes drive away from Port Louis the Capital and 10mins to Trou aux Biches. We are at approximately 200 meters of the bus stop. You can catch buses every 15 minutes.

A self-catering duplex bungalow of 134 square meter, the Forgetti Bungalow is the perfect holiday place for a couple, a family or a group of friends. Located in Trou aux Biches on the North-West coast, the villa is only 30 metres away from the lagoon offering excellent snorkelling and swimming, and close to the finest beaches on the island.

Strong points
This 3 bedrooms villa is spacious and nicely decorated, featuring typical local architecture including wooden doors and windows, a pergola, a comfortable veranda with beautiful plants, old traditional chairs, garden furniture and long chairs as well as the typical tropical ceiling fan. The fenced garden hosts a private pool facing the veranda, next to a double parking.

The house ground-floor comprises a living and dining room with fan, TV, radio and telephone (local calls only). The fully equipped kitchen area (refrigerator, microwave, toaster, sandwich-maker, oven, crockery, cutlery, coffee machine, rice cooker, kettle, glassware, pots, washing machine, iron, iron board) opens out on a small backyard area.

Comfort also prevails on the first floor, in the 3 air-conditioned double rooms. The nice master bedroom with en suite bathroom includes a digital safe, TV, hairdryer and first-aid kit. A second bathroom caters for the occupants of the two other rooms, one of which opens out on a terrace overlooking the pool.

House linen and towels are supplied. Attending maid service 3 days a week, except on public holidays and Sundays. Washing and ironing services available against extra charge.

The location
Once a peaceful fishing village, Trou aux Biches has expanded into a well-known tourist resort with all water sports and facilities. The bungalow is only within walking distance from Popo`s supermarket,school, a chemist, a pizzeria, restaurants, a bus stop and 5 star hotels. Tour operators offer excursion tours such as La Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes , Casela Bird Park, Chamarel coloured earths, sunset cruises, golf, fishing, hiking at Domaine de l`Etoile, Scuba Doo, the Mauritius Aquarium, catamaran cruises by Croisières Australes to Ilot Gabriel, Ile Plate, Ile aux cerfs, the Ile aux Aigrettes wildlife sanctuary, scuba diving or swimming with dolphins on the West coast.

Further north, within a 5 minutes drive or by bus, one reaches Grand Baie, the sea resort town with its shopping boutiques, restaurants, pubs, night-clubs, banks, supermarkets, clinics and doctors. A 20 minutes drive away, Pamplemousses Botanical garden is world-famous for its old trees and its unique Talipot (a species of palm tree that flowers only once before dying), its giant Aldabra Tortoises and stags from Java. In the same area, do not miss a visit to L`Aventure du Sucre to learn all about the history of sugar cane on the island.

Get to the busy capital Port Louis in a 50 minutes drive and take a walk through elegant Caudan Waterfront, the Central market or Chinatown area for good deals. The Champ de Mars race-course is also highly colourful and very popular
